Lynn Molhan was born and raised in Rhode Island, and moved to the Gulf Coast of Florida in 2004.
While in Rhode Island, she occasionally exhibited some oil and watercolor art in local art shows and craft outlets, keeping her art interest as she raised her family. It was mostly a hobby, when she had the time.

Unexpectedly, she pursued and excelled in a completely different career.
In response to a bet-challenge from her 3 brothers, she played a round of golf.
That was all it took, as she discovered a new passion, and couldn’t turn away from it,
winning  her club championship 17 years in a row.
The more she played, the more she wanted to improve, and solved that urge by attending the US Golf Teaching Federation
school in Florida, where she became a certified, level 4, master golf instructor.

She returned to her club in Rhode Island, as the Head Professional and golf instructor. She quickly became a fixture and recognized teaching pro throughout New England, meeting with some tour professionals ( PGA & LPGA)
and other teaching pros during the winter months at an indoor domed practice facility.

She moved to Florida with her husband in 2004, to be able to play golf year-round, and also to avoid the cold and snow! With extra time on her hands when not playing golf, she decided to get back into painting, and did a number of oils before she became excited about mixed-media and resin art, while looking for new ideas.
As with her golf, once on the path, there was no holding her back. She delved into the  resin media, searching for materials, researching methods and techniques, and constantly monitoring other artists to keep up with the latest information. She frequently experiments with her own methods and ideas for new visual effects, and her dedication to this art form has grown as she progressed.

Always looking for feedback on her work, she hopes you will comment and contact her, and she appreciates your interest.
